Apple cider vinegar has accumulated an impressive list of claimed benefits over the past decade — appearing in morning routines, gut health protocols, and blood sugar strategies. The evidence behind some of those uses is reasonable. The evidence behind its most popular application — relieving acid reflux — is not, and the mechanism mismatch matters.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, there is no real science to back up the claims about ACV''s anti-heartburn power.
